"Are you wearing some unusual kind of perfume or something radioactive, my dear?" -- McCoy, Mudd's Women, Stardate 1329.1, Episode 4
Mint Julep

4 fresh sprigs of Mint
2 1/2 oz Bourbon

2 tsp Water Mixing instructions:
Muddle mint leaves, powdered sugar, and water in a Collins glass. Fill glass with shaved or crushed ice and add bourbon. Top with more ice and garnish with a mint sprig. Serve with a straw.
Come on in and make yourself comfortable...enjoy The Mint Julep Inn's particular form of Southern Comfort. Here we pay homage in writing to that craggy male of TOS who could perform surgery and throw back highballs with equal finesse: Doctor Leonard H. "Bones" McCoy, and the actor who brought him so vividly to life, DeForest Kelley.
Dr. McCoy's love for mint juleps was established in the original Star Trek episode, "This Side of Paradise." It spread into fandom, was mentioned a handfull of times more in canon, and was featured in a "filibuster" to stave off his own execution in the Pocket Books Star Trek novel "The Romulan Way."
This site is primarily made up of links to fan fiction featuring McCoy. Please e-mail The Mint Julep Inn with any links, art or submissions! I can't keep up with it all myself! Thank you.

This site would not be possible without many Archives, Mailing lists and Web Rings all over the net. The archives especially - they do all the work! And the Web Rings bring people who send the authors feedback! So visit them, join them, pay them homage!
This is it. The highlight of The Mint Julep Inn: The Story Directory and Archive. Both general and adult fan fiction are linked here. Please note the following:
The directory is organized by author. I've now coded an alpha-jump code so it's a little faster to jump doen the page. I may get even more ambitious in the future, but let's not be unrealistic.
Stories belong to their authors. Also, authors usually only give permission for certain people/places to archive their stories. That's why I have links to those archives. A notation is made as to where the story came from, i.e. archive, personal home page, etc. Visit them and pay them homage. The archivists especially deserve a LOT of credit.
Send feedback. I can't emphasize this enough. An author's email is embedded in the name. If not, it means an email was not available. If an email bounces, please send me a line so I can disconnect the link. Thanks. If the email is not available, please visit the archive or page responsible for the story for further contact information. These archives are now linked with most entries. We want them to keep writing, correct? If you have updated information for any authors, please send me corrections!
All stories are coded. This means the rating, pairing(s), and other warning codes are posted. Please pay attention to those codes. Restricted ratings are in red: [R], [NC-17]. If you're not of age to read that material, don't click on the link. Regardless, I'm not responsible, this is your warning.
Enjoy! And drop me a line, tell me what you think about the site. I could use feedback for motivation, too!
Usual Disclaimer: McCoy and all things Trek belong to Paramount and Viacom, we bow before the altar of Trek and worship, we are not worthy. We (the Webmistress, the archivists, the web-ringers, the authors and the readers - simply put, THE FANS) sure as hell don't make money off this. Unless you can figure a way to tax personal pleasure and gratification?
